Andrew Ritschel, president of Electronic Office Systems (EOS) in Fairfield, NJ, discusses what’s currently hot and what’s not or should be doing better in the markets that EOS serves.
What’s hot?
Ritschel: Standard Segment 2, 3 and 4 machines. That’s about it. We propose solutions, we propose MPS, we propose shredders, and we proposed managed document solutions (scanning and storage), but it comes down to the meat and potatoes.
What’s not or what should be doing better for you?
Ritschel: Our large account business who are coming to the end of their contracts. [They’re sitting on] proposals for extended periods of time even if everything making sense to complete the deal, but they continue to delay the final decision.
