Chicago (Aug. 17, 2023) — Clover Imaging Group, a division of Clover Environmental Solutions and a leader in sustainable imaging solutions, announced today its commitment to convert all its printer cartridge exterior packaging to coated recycled paperboard (CRB) by the end of 2023.
With its use of 100% post-consumer recycled content, CRB is the most sustainable paperboard available, and it is also fully recyclable after usage, making it a highly sustainable packaging option. This exterior packaging conversion enables Clover Imaging to conserve 593,559 pounds of cardboard annually.
As Keli Posch, vice president of marketing and sustainability for Clover Environmental Solutions, notes, “One of our sustainability goals is to prioritize high recycled content and easily recyclable materials to support a circular economy model. Packaging our environmentally friendly printer cartridges with this ultra-sustainable paperboard underscores our commitment to providing the most environmentally sustainable imaging supplies on the market.”
In addition to its solid sustainability profile, Clover Imaging Group’s new paperboard is also certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI). SFI certification provides purchasers with a trusted source of products focused on conservation, waste and pollution reduction, and promoting environmentally friendly solutions for a healthier environment.
