Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario (Nov. 25, 2022) – Systems Solutions Limited (SSI) is pleased to announce the addition of two new features to its SSI Web e-commerce platform: automatic cart repricing and minimum order fees. These new features offer dealers additional ways to protect their margins in the face of increasing costs.
Automatic cart repricing gives dealers the option of having SSI Web automatically reprice items left sitting in customer shopping carts, helping protect their margins in the event of supplier price increases. This feature allows dealers to guarantee pricing for a set period from cart creation, 30 days for example. If the customer returns to the cart after that time, items will be repriced automatically, and the customer will be alerted to any price changes.
The other new feature gives dealers the option to set a minimum amount for online orders. SSI Web will automatically add an additional charge to orders whose total falls below the required minimum.
This charge offers dealers another way to offset rising delivery costs.
