Schaumburg, IL (June 16, 2020) — Pulse Technology, a technology company serving the IT, managed print services and other needs of businesses throughout the Midwest and beyond, has named Michael Fair of Chicago to the position of director of business development.
In this role, he will work with company Vice President Vince Miceli to help the company continue to improve its efficiencies across sales, operations, marketing and training. He will concentrate on developing some new processes to help the company continue its expansion. He will focus primarily on the firm’s Illinois locations: Schaumburg, Chicago and Rockford.
Fair has been in the managed print services industry for more than a dozen years. He began in facilities management at Gordon Flesch, a Greater Chicago managed service provider firm. He eventually became a major account print specialist with the firm before joining Impact Networking headquartered in Lake Forest, in 2015. He moved through the channels to become the organization’s vice president, managed print services.
The Oak Park, Illinois, native went to school in Northern Michigan but finished his studies at Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in business and marketing.
He has also been an active participant in the non-profit Opportunity Knocks Inc., where he served eight years as auxiliary board president and seven years on the board of directors. Opportunity Knocks provides advocacy for young adults with developmental disabilities so that they can pursue their educational, occupational and social interests. He said of the organization, “It is true to my heart and the primary goal is to provide opportunity for self-enrichment in the life of our Warriors.”
He and his wife Jeanette are parents to three children: 2.5 year old twins Eilis and Emmett and 1-year-old daughter Charlee. He is an avid sports fan and recalls the Cubs winning the 2016 World Series as being a major highlight during his sports fandom.
