Fort Worth, TX (June 29, 2018) — ECi Software Solutions, a leader in industry-specific, cloud-based business management solutions, today announced the finalists for its annual Everyday Hero Award program. Now in its fourth year, the Everyday Hero Award program was created to honor ECi customers—both individuals and companies—who consistently go above and beyond to help others and make a difference in their communities.
Nominations are submitted by ECi employees, customers and partners and evaluated by an independent panel of judges. Following an assessment of more than 30 entries, this year’s three finalists are:
- Christine Cox, ComDoc, Inc., for her dedicated volunteer work with The Haven of Rest and Broken Chains Ministry, providing men and women in-need with mentorship and support to improve the trajectory of their lives.
- Angie Higgins, B&C Business Products, for rescuing more than 300 dogs a year by running the Cimarron Valley Humane Society in her spare time.
- Mike Rhodes, Esperanza Homes, for facilitating a partnership with IDEA Public Schools to provide local low-income and minority students with access to better education.
The winner will be announced on Nov. 5 at ECi’s biennial user conference, Connect 2018, and will receive $5,000 for the charity of their choice. The first and second runners-up will receive $3,000 and $1,000 respectively to donate to a charity of their choice.
In addition to honoring ECi’s customers, the Everyday Hero Award program supports the company’s core values—which are to crave greatness, own the outcome, deliver awesome and embrace community.
