Zhuhai, China (Oct. 20, 2017) — The inclusion of Amazon, Google, a display of the office of the future, copier hardware and supplies and new stationery opportunities provided were a big attraction to the record numbers of professional visitors at the 11th RemaxWorld Expo.
Held again in the new, world-class International Convention and Exhibition Center on Oct. 12-14 in Zhuhai, China, the three-day expo attracted 482 exhibitors from all over the world, including Ninestar, Print-Rite, Apex, Mito, Indian Toners & Developers, Uninet, InkTec, Hanp and Jadi. According to Recycling Times Media Corporation (RT Media), there were 15,122 professional buyers from 104 countries and regions including China, USA, Canada, France, Germany, UK, Japan, Russia, Egypt, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, India, Mexico and Argentina.
The number of countries that visitors came from increased by 24.7% and the number of pre-registered visitors increased by 32.35%. The number of buyers visiting the Expo for the first time increased by almost 30%. RT Media claims the rise in visitors from Africa, the Middle East and Latin America was due to the two international exhibitions – RT Imaging Summit & Expo—EMEA and RT Imaging Summit & Expo—Americas held earlier this year in Cairo and Cancun respectively.
Office Equipment and Stationery Create “Big Office” Platform at Expo
An office equipment and stationery area was established for the first time at the show in response to visitor feedback from previous events. In this way, a comprehensive, cross-border “Big Office” platform was created to complement the printers and consumables, copiers and consumables, and 3D printing exhibits.
Google and Amazon Promote E-Commerce Marketing
In line with the development of big data, RT Media invited two technology giants Google and Amazon to join the show and to show visitors and exhibitors alike how to use data to achieve effective and efficient E-commerce marketing strategies.
Intelligent Office: A New Way for Traditional Office Industry
According to a report from Markets & Markets, a foreign market research agency, the global intelligent office market will reach US$43.31 billion by 2020 with a compound annual growth rate of 10.7%. In order to follow the trend, RT Media cooperated with OACHINA.COM, a Chinese office service platform, and set up a “Future Office Experience Pavilion” to introduce the intelligent office to the traditional office industry at the expo for the first time.
Tony Lee, managing director of RT Media, said: “the market share of the global office industry is huge while the competition is fierce. In the future, we hope to create RemaxWorld Expo as a comprehensive and cross-border business and communication platform to drive the integration of many industries including consumables, stationery and other office equipment, to help our exhibitors and visitors to expand their businesses.”
In 2018, RT Media will continue to deliver professional events in the EMEA (Cairo), Americas (Cancun), Business Inform Expo (Moscow), India (4-city whistle-stop tour) and again in Zhuhai, China. The next event will be held on March 22-23, 2018 in Cairo, Egypt: RT Imaging Expo—EMEA 2018.
