The Xerox Phaser 3020 Printer and the WorkCentre 3025 Multifunction Printer are small, compact machines targeted at individual users or small office environments. These monochrome printers are rated at 21 ppm, with the WorkCentre 3025 also featuring copying, scanning and faxing capabilities. These machines rely on their low cost as the primary selling feature and offer no additional options. The all-in-one toner cartridge (106R02773) is rated at 1,500 pages.
UniNet also introduces Absolute Color toner and components for use in Ricoh SP C320, 312, 310, 252, 242, 232 MFP color printer series.
The Ricoh SP C252DN color printer and the SP C252SF color multifunction printer are based on the same 21-ppm print engine and use all the same supplies. The C252DN model is strictly a printer model only, while the C252SF is a fully featured printer, copier, scanner, and fax machine. This MFP features an automatic 35-page document feeder, wireless printing and duplex capability. Toner cartridges are the all-in-one type, rated at 6,500 pages for the black cartridge, and 6,000 pages for the colors.
Finally, UniNet launches Absolute Black toner and components for use in Sharp MX-M565, 564, 465, 464, 365, 364 MFP monochrome printer series.
Sharp has a series of high-end monochrome machines designed for medium to large workgroups. The first group is referred to as the “Essential Series” and includes machine models MX-M364, MX-M464 and MX-M564. These machines offer printing, copying, scanning plus an optional fax feature as standard features. Also includes a color touch display, 256-bit data encryption, optional additional paper trays and finishing options at printing speeds of 36, 46 and 56 ppm. The second group, the “Advanced Series”, is a slightly higher end product and features models MX-M365, MX-M465 and MX-M565. These models offer all the same features at the Essential Series, but at a higher print resolution (1200 dpi vs 600 dpi) and with an enlarged color touchpad for easier operation. All these models use the same supplies, toner cartridge (MX-560NT – rated at 40,000 pages), developer (MX-560NV – rated at 600,000 pages) and drum (MX-560DR – rated at 30,000 pages).
