Los Angeles, CA, Nov. 24, 2014 – The C748 printer and X748 MFP are Lexmark’s mid speed color laser printers targeted for mid-size workgroups and business color applications. Both machines have the same basic specifications: 35 ppm at 1200 x 1200 DPI resolution, instant warm up fusers, and duplexing. The X748 MFP comes standard with a hard drive; this is also an option in the C748 version.
The toner cartridges use different chips for the two printer models, and are not interchangeable. The drum cartridge is the same for both machines.
