OKI’s Broad Portfolio Meets the Unique Needs of the Manufacturing and Beverage Industry
MOUNT LAUREL, NJ (September 11, 2014) – OKI Data Americas announces its participation in the National Beer Wholesalers Association’s (NBWA) 77th Annual Convention taking place September 28 through October 1, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans in New Orleans, LA. OKI Data will be exhibiting in booth 1100, and will demonstrate its end-to-end printing solutions and services for the wholesale beverage industry. In addition, OKI Data will discuss the ways in which merchandisers and distributors can reduce costs and improve procedures with on-demand printing solutions and proactive print fleet management.
Among the printing solutions being demonstrated is the C941dn – a revolutionary LED digital color printer featuring a five station toner configuration. In addition to cyan, magenta, yellow and black, the device also supports a white or clear toner in the fifth position, delivering an expansive new world of printing capabilities. The C941dn is the first LED printer in its class to offer white or clear spot color printing together with extensive media handling capabilities.
Accompanying the C941dn is the debut of a new envelope feeder accessory. The roll-up, conveyer design has simple adjustments that make it easy to connect to the C941dn, which has an envelope mode with top speeds of printing 70 envelopes per minute[1].
The C941dn is part of the Multimedia Production Platform (MPP) from OKI. The MPP is a groundbreaking series of production-quality A3 color devices with innovative features and functionality that go far beyond traditional digital color printing and media handling capabilities. These devices print on transparent media, magnets, banners and heavyweight cardstock with ease, and all within a single, compact unit.
Another printing solution being demonstrated at the show is the high productivity desktop label printer – the LD630D. With superior performance at an affordable price, the LD630D is among the best in its class; it is ideal for the wholesale beverage industry when bar code label and event wristband printing applications are a necessity.

C941dn – The C941dn offers best in class high-definition color print quality, high volume productivity and diverse media handling abilities at a low running cost. Features include print speeds of up to 50 pages per minute and toner yields of up to 38,000 pages[1], delivering fast, reliable and cost-effective output, handling a recommended monthly print volume of 25,000 pages. The C941dn can print on 3” by 5” cards to 10” by 13” envelopes with a laser safe toner, and will be shown with its new envelope feeder accessory.
LD630D – The LD630/LD640 Series of Direct Thermal and Thermal Transfer/Direct Thermal label printers from OKI Data delivers quality output for mid- to high-volume applications. To satisfy the most demanding requirements, they feature a robust design, fast print speeds and extraordinary ease of use.
