This week we speak with Mark Wild, president of Upstream Office Solutions in Tampa, FL, a dealership he started in 2012. He discusses what’s hot and what’s not in his market.
What’s hot?
Wild: The hottest thing by far is the A4 Toshibas; the OKI/Toshiba box with a big full-screen. We literally can’t get enough of those in. They’re phenomenal products for the price.
What’s not?
Wild: We’re not doing as many black & white midsize copiers. Our sweet spot is the 30 to 50-ppm color box. I would rather discount that machine and give them a color machine so I can at least get some color clicks off them. Once they have it, they’ll be [printing in color].
