This week we touch base with Jason Habbal, vice president/sales manager with Vision Office Systems in Charlotte, NC about what’s hot and what’s not in his market. Vision sells Savin, Canon, HP, Samsung, and Kyocera products.
Habbal: Segment 4 color MFP’s are what has been hot the last month. Most of the machines going out and prospective customers we are meeting are in this segment.
Habbal: Wide format and A4. It has been almost six months since a wide-format system has gone out our doors. We remain committed to the wide-format market, but are not optimistic at this time for a large growth in sales for this year. Most people we deal with realize the possible need for 11×17 and have been paying more to get an A3 machine in the event policies within organizations change and the need for 11×17 arises.
