What’s Hot & What’s Not?

This week Mark Miller, president of Eakes Office Plus in Grand Island, NE, a Sharp dealer who also sells supplies and furniture, shares what’s hot and what’s not in his market.

What’s hot? 

Miller: Mid-level color output devices continue to be really good, 30-, 40-ppm color. That’s nothing new, that’s been the case for a long time. Sharp has come out with their high-volume, high-production color and we do feel some pretty good demand for that. We’ve brought in a few and they’re all out there getting looked at right now. I’m pleased with that.

What’s not?

Miller: Nothing really other than the life cycle of black & white is tailing off a little bit particularly lower volume black and white.
