As the calendar flipped over to September, one yuletide-longing friend pondered on social media, “Is it too soon to put up my Christmas tree?”
Well, my Facebook amigo—and indeed, all of us—can be forgiven for having our eyes on the year-end holiday respite. While the pandemic has created an effect of days melting into one another in a blur because we’re still not all marking the passage of time with traditional rituals such as vacations, parades and gatherings, it is indeed only September. But with two weeks remaining until the deadline, it is certainly an appropriate occasion to remind our readers to enter their applications for the 2021 ENX Magazine Elite Dealer program.
Yes, Sept. 17 is the official deadline to fill out the 2021 Elite Dealer nomination form. While 2020 represented the first time in the program’s existence that our list had not grown year-over-year, we’ll take a pandemic-induced mulligan. Last year’s crop of 117 dealers was strong nonetheless and provided many tales of success with annual highlights, industry awards and accolades, acquisitions, product and marketing rollouts, significant contract wins…the list goes on. And unlike pay-to-play programs, we don’t take a nickel from your marketing budget, but certainly, add value to it.
