October is going to be insane. I mean that in a good way.
It all starts on Sept. 30th (I know, technically not October, but close enough.) with Fraser Advanced Information Systems Customer Appreciation Lobster Dinner in Blandon, PA. This will be my fourth time attending and it’s one of the highlights of my document imaging industry year. It’s all the lobster you can eat. How crazy is that? I usually top out at four, but this year may stop at three as I try to get my weight under control. Bill Fraser and his team do a wonderful job with this event and it’s no wonder why he has one of the top dealerships in Pennsylvania. I’d do business with him just for the lobster alone.
The next night it’s off to the Meadow Wood Manner in Randolph, NJ for the 30th Annual Cannata Dinner. This year’s theme is “Born in the USA,” and while Bruce won’t be there, plenty of document imaging industry movers and shakers will be. I’m not sure how this one can top past events, but I can’t wait to find out. As far as I’m concerned this is still the industry’s prime networking event and funds raised go to a good cause, and this year, multiple good causes. As I’ve written before, the cocktail hour is not to be missed and is a feast by itself, but that holds true for the entire event.
Then on October 8, I’m off to New York City to attend LDI’s Anniversary Event. I’m not sure what to expect, but LDI’s Brian Gertler tells me it’s going to be great and Brian hasn’t steered me wrong yet.
But that’s not all. I’ll also be attending the Lexmark press and analyst meeting in Lexington at Lexmark’s new conference center Oct. 13 & 14 and then on Oct. 20-22, I’m off to the Square 9 Encompass end user conference in Florida.
In between all that feasting, networking, and learning, I’ll be busy working on the 2015 Elite Dealer profiles. Yes indeed, the December Elite Dealer issue is starting to take shape and will be here before you know it. Only 66 more days until the 2015 Elite Dealers are revealed.
Thanks for reading.
