Between the Lines: Celebrating and Thanking the Independent Dealer Community

The December issue of ENX magazine honors the 2014 Elite Dealers, the feet on the street driving the document imaging industry.

Unlike some awards that primarily acknowledge top sellers, these awards drill down a little deeper and focus on innovative marketing programs, strategies, and/or service offerings; what makes the dealership a great place to work; corporate citizenship and community involvement; why customers like doing business with that dealership; acknowledgements and awards from vendors and other third-party organizations; and growth, either overall or in specific segments of the dealership.

What I find most gratifying about presenting these awards is the opportunity this has given me over the years to connect with so many different dealers, in dealerships of all sizes, across the country. Many of these Elite Dealers have become some of my best sources.

As I write this the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for how gracious so many have been with their time, insights, and opinions over the years. I certainly couldn’t do this for as long as I have without their support.
