I know it should be obvious, but I’m going to draw attention to the Elite Dealer nomination form anyway. Indeed, there’s no time like the present to start working on your Elite Dealer nomination forms. You can link to it on the home page of The Week in Imaging Website or in the newsletter, where I’ve placed it so that you can’t miss it. Because of the redesign, I’m a couple of weeks behind in posting the 2013 nomination forms, however, considering that the deadline is Sept. 1, you’ve still got plenty of time to get your nomination in.
I had a great response last year and I’m expecting it to be even bigger this year. Over the next few weeks I’ll be asking my contacts at the OEMs as well as others who work closely with the dealer community for potential nominees as well.
It’s great to be nominated by a third party, but I still need a completed nomination form by the dealer to make the final decision. So if you’re nominated by someone else, I hope you’ll respond to my request to complete a nomination form. That said, many of the Elite Dealers last year took it upon themselves to nominate themselves. And that’s okay too.
Incidentally, this is the 25th year of the Elite Dealer awards. The tradition started back in 1988 with OfficeDealer magazine and continues to this day in The Week in Imaging. I can tell you right now I’m not going anywhere and as long as there are office technology dealers out there doing what they do best, I’m going to be here celebrating those folks here in The Week in Imaging. I truly hope you’re one of them.
