There’s a lot going on this week in The Week in Imaging, including four more trends pieces. I’ve got four more on the docket for next week and may include another two or three in the Feb. 1 e-mail blast. Of course, if you don’t want to wait until Friday’s blast, check the Website, www.theweekinimaging.com because I start posting articles prior to Friday.
Besides this week’s trends pieces, and there’s some good ones with perspectives from Nuance, Xerox, Photizo Group, and Copier Careers, there’s a story about NSI’s acquisition of Barr Systems EOM division, another example of consolidation in our industry. That comes on the heels of last week’s news of Konica Minolta acquiring DocuSource, a dealership in Cerritos, CA, along with news of Global’s acquisition of Zoom Imaging Solutions, a major Toshiba dealer in Northern California. Round and round and round they go where these acquisitions will end nobody knows.
