Office technology dealers thrive on big wins. And this year’s group of Elite Dealers is no exception. While we were soliciting Elite Dealer nominations, we asked them to share with us their biggest win of the past year. Throughout the month of December we’re going to present 10-15 big wins each week. Here’s the first 10.
“A private university located in Ohio with more than 3,600 students from 27 different countries. PERRY proTECH rolled in a new fleet of MFP’s consisting of 57 color and 17 black and white systems along with a MPS program to maintain a reduced fleet of 125 laser printers with no inkjet printers being supported. HID card readers were installed on all 74 MFP’s and the full MF version of Papercut was installed to track all prints throughout the campus. This solution will reduce the print fleet by over 60 percent, at the same time saving a substantial dollar amount on a monthly basis for service and supplies. In addition, the university now has greater control and accountability for all costs associated with printing on campus.” PERRY proTECH, Lima, OH
“Several, including two healthcare organizations with more than 200 units. ACT Group’s solution for both was unique and focused on the client’s needs for security and compliance, not just today but through and beyond the contract term. Both organizations are now excellent references and state that ACT Group went well beyond anything they have ever seen from a vendor before.” ACT Group, Cromwell, CT
“A sale of more than 200 units, including service, to a healthcare facility, resulting in $900,000 in revenue.” Business Copier Solutions, Poway, CA
“Securing the Houston Astros’ account. Stargel formed a partnership with the team, which has enabled us to provide the Astros with hardware, MPS, DocuWare, and digital signage.” Stargel Office Solutions, Houston, TX
“A fully integrated solution, including Canon MFPs, uniFLOW document management software, Lexmark printers, Managed Print Services and a Biscom fax server solution for a national innovator in the production and marketing of premium food products.” Loffler Companies, Bloomington, MN
“We don’t have a large presence in the production print area, but we recently placed two 70-ppm units with a client that had formerly been doing business with Xerox. This was by no means our biggest sale of the year in terms of revenue, but it was important strategically to get us better visibility in this segment of the market.” Northern Business Machines, Burlington, MA
“Our biggest win, to our business and the community was to be able to hire 36 new employees this past year. Our three-decade commitment to listening to our customers and earning their trust was the foundation for being able to grow our employment base by 23 percent. This is a tribute to the ongoing determination of CBE’s owner, managers and entire staff to take full advantage of providing the most appropriate business technological innovations to our community; one business at a time. Cell Business Equipment (CBE), Irvine, CA
“Providing document management to Hudson Headwaters.” Seeley Office Solutions, Glens Falls, NY
