Replacing Formatter (CE988-67906) for HP M600 Series Printer
The formatter board of the HP LaserJet Enterprise M600 Printer Series is a customer self replacement part. It is necessary to follow the procedures below in order to replace and reinstall the formatter and recover the printer information.
Please follow the procedure as shown in the pictures below:
– Reinstall the new formatter board.– Turn on the product and then wait for ten minutes once the product has reached the Ready state.
NOTE:
Ten minutes are required to allow for NVRAM settings to be properly written (including printer model).
• Turn the product off / on.
Print a configuration page to verify against original settings.
