BTA’s Fall Colors Retreat to Be Held Oct. 3-4 in Asheville, North Carolina

Kansas City, MO (Aug. 19, 2024) — The Business Technology Association (BTA) will hold its 2024 Fall Colors Retreat, hosted by BTA Southeast, Oct. 3-4 at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina.

Open to office technology dealers from across the country, the event will feature a keynote address by Laura Blackmer of Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc.; two additional educational sessions led by industry leaders; round-table discussions that will give attendees time to learn more about the exhibitors’ product and services offerings in-depth; time to network with peers and exhibiting sponsors during breaks; and cocktails and a sunset dinner at the Omni Grove Park Inn’s Mountain View Terrace, which offers scenic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The Fall Colors Retreat will begin at noon on Thursday, Oct. 3, with lunch, followed by opening comments and the keynote address, “Dealers & the Profit Dilemma — How to Get Help From Your Manufacturers,” presented by Blackmer. Round-table discussions will follow the keynote, giving attendees a chance to learn more about the exhibitors’ products and services. A break, giving attendees time to network with their fellow dealers and exhibitors, will follow the round tables.

After the break, the second educational session, “Achieve Above-Benchmark Performance With Service Model Changes & Technology,” presented by Andy Peacock of PROS Elite Group, will be held. To wrap up the first day, attendees will enjoy cocktails and dinner at the Mountain View Terrace, which offers scenic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The second day of the retreat will begin at 8:30 a.m. with breakfast, followed by opening comments and the second set of exhibitor round-table discussions. The final educational session, “The State of the Economy,” presented by Tim Quinlan of Wells Fargo Corporate and Investment Banking, will be held after the round tables. The retreat will wrap up with closing comments and prize drawings from 11:45 a.m. to noon.

BTA member dealers receive 2-for-1 registration to the Fall Colors Retreat. BTA member dealer registration is $199, which includes the Thursday and Friday educational sessions; Thursday lunch, cocktail reception and dinner; and Friday breakfast. An additional attendee from the same member dealership is $99. Non-member dealer registration is $249 per person.
