Poway, CA (July 22, 2024) – The California Sign Association (CSA) is excited to announce its annual WSSC & CSA Convention. The event takes place from Aug. 13-16 at the Hyatt Regency Orange County.
Some of what attendees can expect include:
- Engaging Panel Discussions: Gain insights from top professionals sharing their expertise in the signage realm.
- Cutting-Edge Exhibits: Explore the latest technologies and innovations revolutionizing the sign industry.
- Networking Opportunities: Connect with like-minded professionals, fostering valuable relationships for future collaborations.
In addition, a Crane Operator Certification (Training & Testing) opportunity will run concurrent with the convention. A much-anticipated golf tournament kicks off the convention events on August 14 with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
The WSSC Sign Show and CSA convention hosts the traditional Bowling Bash at 7 p.m. the evening of Aug. 14, and CSA will provide transportation between Hyatt Regency & Bowlmor Lanes. That afternoon, a CSA Board of Directors meeting is held for the 2023-2024 Board Members. Check-in is from noon-6 p.m. that same day at the Hyatt.
On Aug. 15, registrants can enjoy the first of two education sessions, from 8-10 a.m., titled, “How to Maximize Sales Tools: Unleashing the Power of Product.” Immediately following the seminar, the 2024 CSA Annual Meeting & State of the Association is held, followed by a luncheon.
Sign professionals are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and spend time in the exhibit hall, which is open from 1-5 p.m. on Aug. 15. Register for the President’s Reception (6 p.m.) and banquet (7-10 p.m.) that evening. The banquet event features awards, board installation, live and silent auctions, plus a $10,000 drawing.
On Aug. 16, those registered can attend another education session, “Artificial Intelligence-AI: Good Business Practices” from 8–9:30 a.m. It is followed by the 2024-25 CSA Board of Directors meeting, plus an exciting excursion at noon with lunch, which concludes the entire convention experience.
