Little Rock, AR (June 14, 2023) — Long-time Little Rock-based Capital Business Machines and ISI announced today a rebrand as Capital Technology Group, a move company officials say recognizes the company’s growth as one of the state’s leaders in business technology, equipment, and services.
What began in 1939 as Capital Typewriter Company on Main Street in downtown Little Rock is still a family-owned business with Brett Rogers serving as president and Byron Rogers as vice president of the company that has been an integral part of business growth and development in the state for more than 80 years.
“With the purchase of Innovative Systems, Inc. in 2017, it solidified Capital Business Machines among Arkansas’ top business machine and technology sales and service providers,” Brett says. “With that purchase and additional technical and cloud-based offerings we’ve developed since, the business now serves customers in 80 percent of the state. So a new name and new look really better reflect where our growing company is today.”
Capital Technology Group has retained and added to its already strong team even earning Small Business Administration Top Family-Owned Business of the Year recognition and is now recognized by Kyocera as a Service Solution Provider (SSP) Dealer signifying the highest level of technical expertise.
Capital Technology Group will remain in its headquarters on Jones Street in Little Rock and will continue to dispatch sales and service representatives throughout the state.
