Kings Park, NY (Aug. 11, 2021) — Prosperity Plus, a well-respected consulting group for businesses across many parts of North America, reached its 20-year milestone this summer.
Since its founding in 2001 by Jim Kahrs, the company has serviced nearly 500 clients with its unique blend of industry expertise and administrative technology driven by the Hubbard Management System and the Value Builder System, which the company is licensed to deliver. It has led 281 merger/acquisition/valuation transactions among independent business systems dealerships over that period of time. In short, Prosperity Plus has and brought countless executives and staff into higher levels of operating efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
While reflecting on this anniversary, Kahrs was quick to point out the speed with which two decades have passed since he started the company in July 2001. When he started the business, he did one-on-one consulting with independent dealers in the copy/print business. The makeup of the group’s revenue changed very quickly as Prosperity’s influence expanded into other marketplaces including mailing systems, information technology, office furniture and supplies, filing systems and point-of-sale systems. Today, the company services clients in these industries plus financial security, identification, electronics, and health care.
Today, Kahrs and his team as a whole have become opinion leaders among business owners, manufacturers, and trade associations alike. He’s spoken at conferences hosted by 15 different trade groups including the Business Technology Association, Association of Independent Mailing Equipment Dealers, the Financial & Security Products Association, International Systems Dealer Association, CompTIA, Retail Solutions Providers Association, and others.
“It’s really been interesting and fun to learn different markets. The similarities from one industry to the next has made for a shortened learning curve and has provided opportunities to apply successes from one industry to another.” Kahrs said. “Yet, the most important aspect of this to me is the countless friendships that I have made over the years. Having met thousands and thousands of people over the past 20 years is a highlight. I’ve had the ability to truly help people achieve their business and personal goals and move their lives in a direction they really wanted. That’s very gratifying.”
