Venice, FL (June 21, 2021) — The Imaging Supplies Coalition for International Intellectual Property Protection (ISC) announced that it has elected a new chairman of the board and three new officers at its annual meeting held June 15. Andrew Gardner, worldwide brand protection manager, Lexmark International, was named chairman of the board. He succeeds Rafi Haqqani of Brother International.
Commenting on the election, Allen Westerfield, president of the Coalition said, “The members and board of directors want to thank Rafi for his proactive involvement and support of the ISC. Our new Chairman, Andrew Gardner brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the Chair, and we look forward to continuing to build on our programs and initiatives under his leadership.”
Yuta Ishihara, legal specialist, Canon U.S.A. was named chair-elect. Jennifer Dirks, brand protection manager, Epson America, was elected treasurer. Brian Bachrach, senior product manager, supplies and accessories, Brother International, was elected secretary.
Westerfield went on to say, “Each of these officers has broad experience in the imaging supplies industry and are their companies’ leaders in developing intellectual property rights protection strategies to defend their companies’ brand from illegal activity.”
