Schaumburg, IL (Sept. 11, 2020) — Pulse Technology, a technology company serving the IT, managed print services and other needs of businesses throughout the Midwest and beyond, has named Richard Johns of South Barrington, Illinois, to the position of account executive. In this role, he will work to assist with new business development and management of the growing company’s ongoing accounts.
He joins Pulse Technology after having spent fifteen years at another IT firm in Schaumburg, where he served as client relations manager. His resume also includes serving as technical manager at a computer leasing company in the Chicago area. Johns also worked independently as an IT consultant.
A native of Lake Bluff, Illinois, he studied at both Oklahoma State University and College of Lake County, Illinois. He is an active member of the Barrington High School Football Booster Club, having served as board president (2018 and 2019) and board vice president (2016 and 2017). In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and following professional sports. He has been a Cubs and Bears fan for a long time.
He and his wife, Stephanie, are parents to three children: Brittany, who attends graduate school; Kyle, who graduates from college in December; and Dylan, who is a college freshman.
