Rosemont, IL (July 1, 2020) — Independent Suppliers Group announced that Mike Maggio, CEO, announced his retirement from ISG effective July 1. Maggio is the president and CEO of S.P. Richards Company, a leading national business products wholesaler. The board of directors of Independent Suppliers Group named current President Mike Gentile to the position of President and CEO, effective June 30.
“I have known Mike Gentile for a number of years and have worked closely with him when we were each running separate dealer groups and since the merger,” Maggio said. “Mike has been a true partner and I am proud to have worked with him. I am leaving ISG in his very capable hands and the membership is lucky that a manager of his caliber is now at the helm. I look forward to working closely with him and the ISG Board of Directors to create collaborative programs to the benefit of the members.”
