Open to office technology dealers from across the country, the event will feature: a keynote address on unforgettable leadership led by author and leadership expert Ted Ma; a featured educational session on whether to sell your business; a dealer panel discussion on the evolution of MPS; five additional educational sessions led by industry leaders; time to network with peers and exhibiting sponsors, including during a welcoming reception and breaks; and an evening at the iconic Salt Lick BBQ for dinner, live music and yard games.
Gateway to Success will begin at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, with welcoming comments, followed by the keynote address, “Unforgettable Leadership: How to Be the Leader Your Employees Never Want to Leave,” presented by Ma. During the keynote, you will learn: three keys to becoming an unforgettable leader; how to develop new leaders; how to increase employee engagement and retention; how to navigate and adapt to change; and the formula to capitalize on new opportunities. A break, giving attendees time to visit with peers and exhibiting sponsors, will follow. Breaks between sessions on both days will also give attendees additional networking time.
The featured speaker, John Hey, founder of Strategic Business Associates, will follow the break with his session, “To Sell or Not to Sell? That is Not the Question!” Hey will impart his knowledge and insights regarding the decision to sell an imaging business, sharing why dealers should think about selling and why they might want to stay in the game. At 6 p.m., the Managed Print Services Association (MPSA) will announce the winners of its Leadership Awards during its annual awards ceremony, followed by a welcoming reception until 7:30 p.m.
The second day of Gateway to Success will begin at 7 a.m. with breakfast, followed by opening comments and the first three educational sessions: “Create a Foundation for Sales Success,” led by Sally Brause of GreatAmerica Financial Services Corp.; “Rebranding Your Dealership,” led by Chip Miceli of Pulse Technology; and “What’s Happenin’ in the Imaging Industry,” led by Andy Slawetsky of Industry Analysts Inc. Lunch will follow the morning sessions until 1 p.m.
