Indianapolis (July 30, 2018) — Independent Stationers, an industry leading nationwide member-owned business products cooperative, recently elected its board of directors, and its officers for the coming year.
Elected to three-year terms were: Terry King of Schwegman Office Products in Batesville, AR; Jordan Kudler, of Legacy Office Solutions, in Brooklyn, NY; and Tim Triplett, of Triplett Office Essentials, in Des Moines, IA.
At a subsequent meeting of the new Board, officers were elected for the 2018-2019 year:
Chairman: Tonya Horn, Rogards, Champaign, IL
Vice Chairman: Jordan Kudler, Legacy Office Solutions, Brooklyn, NY
Treasurer: Tim Triplett, Triplett Office Essentials, Des Moines, IA
Secretary: Brian Kerr, Kerr Office Group, Elizabethtown, KY
Horn is the first woman to serve as chairman of the Board for Independent Stationers. “I’m humbled to be elected chairman of our group’s board of directors,” she said. “I’m looking forward to working with our board and extremely talented staff at IS to navigate our group through these dynamic times. I’m confident that our group will continue to be a progressive leader within our industry, putting our members in a position to adapt and thrive.”
