Knoxville, TN (July 24, 2017) — J.D. Sullivan and Bob Lovelace, co-owners of Image Matters, an office technology and services company based in Knoxville, are pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Acuff of Knoxville as vice president of sales. In his role, Acuff will be responsible Image Matters’ market expansion and expanding the strategic direction of the company’s Managed Services business.
Acuff, who started his new position on July 10, brings 28 years of sales, marketing and operations experience in the office technology and services industry. He began his career with Knoxville Xerographics, an office products company and one of the first Xerox Metro Agencies in the country. After 10 years with Knoxville Xerographics he joined Xerox as a sales and services executive.
During the past 18 years, Acuff has held an array of local and regional positions at Xerox, consistently expanding his role within the Xerox organization by leveraging his sales, marketing, finance, and operations skills. His positions have included account sales manager; marketing manager; manager, sales operations; region business manager; director of sales operations support; client sales director, health care provider vertical; and national client manager, health care providers.
With Image Matters, Acuff returns to working in the channel where he began his career. In addition to interacting closely with clients, Acuff will be working directly with Image Matters’ managers and sales reps who are responsible for marketing Managed Print Services.

A 1991 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a B.S. degree in communications, Acuff lives in Knoxville with his wife, Christine and his sons Zak and Xander. In his spare time, Acuff is a youth football coach and is vice president of Hardin Valley Youth Sports.
