The just-released HP LaserJet Pro M26 MFP, M12 is HP’s new “lowest-priced compact monochrome MFP” to hit the market. Based on the older HP LaserJet Pro P1102/M1212 print engine, the M26a MFP is rated at the same 19 ppm and up to 600 x 600 dpi resolution. These machines are targeted for small and home-based workgroups offices. The toner cartridge (CF279A) is identical to the P1102/M1212 cartridge except for the endcaps. All internal components are the same, and the toner cartridge is rated at 1,000 pages.
