Montvale, NJ (February 22, 2017)–Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation announced today that CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Mike Marusic, chief operating officer, to its prestigious list of 2017 Channel Chiefs. The executives on this annual list represent top leaders in the IT channel who excel at driving growth and revenue in their organizations through channel partners.
Channel Chief honorees are selected by CRN’s editorial staff on the basis of their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community and strategies for driving future growth and innovation. In 2016, Marusic launched Sharp’s Vendor Managed Inventory program with Tech Data Corporation, which allows Sharp’s Document Channel Partners to procure a wide range of IT products and services to expand their portfolio. As a part of the Vendor Managed Inventory program, Sharp created a series of partnerships with complementary products and service vendors that integrates the offerings of the two companies, bringing new partners into the distribution channel Thanks to Marusic and his team, Sharp was able to expand its product offerings to include a broader range of displays, which grew their overall revenue this year.
