Mount Laurel, NJ (January 18, 2017) – OKI Data Americas – a world-class printing technology leader – introduces two new devices made exclusively for the BTA channel: the ES5473MFP, a high-quality smart color multi-function printer (MFP), and the ES7412, a powerful A4 color printer with faster speed, increased paper capacity and a low total cost of ownership to small and mid-size businesses (SMBs).
“Businesses continue to rank high-definition quality color output, security and IT efficiency at the top of their printing needs,” said Tina Tuccillo, vice president of marketing for office products at OKI Data Americas. “In 2017, we anticipate these needs with continued focus on operating cost. Our new MFP and color printer enable BTA office technology dealerships to help SMBs get back to business this year, offering a unique level of flexibility while allowing companies to keep an eye on its bottom line.”
New Printer and MFP Built for Flexibility and Scalability
The ES7412 and ES5473MFP are flexible enough to address the needs of a growing business, maintaining functionality for a longer lifespan through:
- A wide range of media capabilities, including up to 52″ banners and a variety of heavy paper stock
- Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) compliance, ensuring that documents are safely sent and received
- Private Print and optional Card Release, keeping documents confidential
- Google Cloud Print 2.0, enabling printing on the move
The flexibility built into the new printers’ features enable businesses to easily reallocate these devices to other departments or functions that need printing support, creating cost savings for the business as it grows.
The ES5473MFP utilizes reliable OKI LED print technology that produces excellent HD color output with a customizable scan/print document platform and secure cloud integration. It features SENDYS Document Explorer Lite with optional connectivity to Office 365, Google Drive and Dropbox, making document management simpler for the user. The ES5473’s interface is easy to use, enabling users to troubleshoot the machine from a simple customizable 7” touch panel.
The ES7412 A4 color printer features faster print speeds than its predecessor, low cost per page and offers reliability, robust security and a low cost of ownership for SMBs, making it ideal for everything from mono documents to high-end marketing collateral. It is easy to use and offers robust security features for more sensitive work. The ES7412 also provides improved connectivity, gigabit Ethernet, Google Cloud Print 2.0 ready and Private Print (available in February)
“Our competitive line of color printers and MFPs have unique functionalities that are specifically designed with the user in mind and further underscores OKI’s commitment to channel development and customer satisfaction,” added Tuccillo. “Ultimately, these capabilities allow for great efficiencies across the entire organization – saving time and money.”
