Des Plaines Office Equipment names Nikki Ashmore to position of Marketing Coordinator

Elk Grove Village, IL (November 7, 2016)–Des Plaines Office Equipment, the Chicago area’s leading provider of workflow solutions including managed print services, managed network services, and related technology, today announced the appointment of Nikki Ashmore of Harwood Heights to the position of marketing coordinator.

In this role, she will work with the growing firm on its marketing initiatives, including the company newsletter, collateral material, social media and a number of other ventures, including the company’s Lunch ‘N Learns, where businesses are invited to DPOE’s showroom to learn how new technology can increase efficiency in the workplace. Prior to joining Des Plaines Office Equipment, she was affiliated with her family’s business, A.J. Building & Grounds, in the Chicago area, as assistant manager of marketing and internal relations.

Ashmore earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Business Management, with a minor concentration in Environmental Studies, at Northeastern Illinois University. During her undergraduate years, she founded the American Marketing Association (AMA) Collegiate Chapter for her University. She additionally maintains an active membership in the national AMA.

In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities including hiking. Recently, she completed a trip through Colorado including hiking at Red Rock and Pike’s Peak.
