Continuum Veterans Foundation’s Support of Hire Heroes USA Contributes to 1,760 Veteran New Hires in Q2 2016
BOSTON – July 1, 2016 – Continuum Veterans Foundation, helping returning troops to find jobs in the IT industry, is celebrating its contributions to the success of Hire Heroes USA, the pre-eminent national nonprofit organization providing veteran employment services. Hire Heroes USA recently announced confirming its 10,000th veteran hired since 2007, bringing its total estimated economic impact in the veteran space to more than $120 million, and has assisted a record 1,760 veterans to secure civilian jobs, from April – June 2016. Continuum Veterans Foundation, established by Continuum Managed Services, donated $50,000 to the organization last November for the third straight year to support its mission.

Hire Heroes USA also announced recently that the nonprofit is experiencing more than 200 percent year-over-year growth in helping transitioning military launch successful civilian careers. The organization has been recognized among the highest rated nonprofit veteran services organizations with a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator and a platinum star rating from GuideStar.
So far this year, Hire Heroes USA has confirmed 2,924 veterans hired. During Q2 2016, Hire Heroes USA has:
- Helped 3,812 clients via online assessments
- Finalized 3,381 resumes
- Conducted 28,622 career counseling sessions

Donating more than $150,000 since 2013 to Hire Heroes USA, the Continuum Veterans Foundation has helped the nonprofit organization in providing free employment services to 1,968 veterans in 2014, 3,561 veterans in 2015, and is tracking to help a record number of veterans in 2016.
Continuum Managed Services is the sole donor to the Continuum Veterans Foundation, providing a percentage of corporate profits as the funding source.
