Considered the most-injured player in NBA history, Walton was forced to quit the game he loved. He decided to pursue broadcasting, but first had to overcome the lifelong stutter that afflicted him. Catastrophic spinal collapse represented the toughest challenge of Walton’s life. His 37th surgery put him back together but it was a rocky road that led to his triumphant recovery.
