Minneapolis, MN, December 18, 2015 – CGS names Cory Sawatzki as Director of Digital Print Technology for its North American operations. Sawatzki will help develop field operations for ORIS Press Matcher // Web and ORIS Lynx in the marketplace, with OEM partners and managed facilities.
With 20 years in the printing industry, and over 10 years working with CGS solutions, Sawatzki is a natural fit within the company. Focusing on expanding his knowledge of print operations with onsite audits across the globe, he brings that strong foundation of experience to the team. “Cory has extensive knowledge working directly with company’s production teams,” comments CEO Trevor Haworth. “His drive to keep them operating at the top of their class, is an ideal fit with CGS’ commitment to our customers.”
Prior to joining CGS, Sawatzki worked with the Consolidated Graphics family of companies setting up operations in plants around the world. Focusing on excellence in color management, equipment, operational efficiency and developing technology allows Sawatzki a comprehensive view of the printing industry. “I’m thrilled to be driving operations in the field,” Sawatzki said. “CGS has long been a powerhouse in the industry, and the products here are second to none.
