Sanford, NC, November 2, 2015 – Static Control’s network of global distributor partners traveled to Zhuhai, China to hold their annual summit. More than 15 countries were represented at the event, which included tours of Apex Technology facilities, and in-depth discussions of upcoming products and sales opportunities.
Attendees enjoyed the added benefit of attending the RemaxWorld Expo, which welcomed 463 exhibitors and over 14,000 visitors from around the world.
“We last met in April prior to our merger with Apex. We moved our annual meeting ahead of schedule a few months because we are excited by the new opportunities our expanded capabilities are making possible,” said Juan Carlos Bonell, Static Control’s Vice President of Sales for Global Distributor Markets. “Our distributor network reaches more than 15,000 remanufacturers around the globe, so it is essential for our distributors to discuss local strategies frequently to ensure we are providing the products and support they need to succeed.”
“It is a great time to be a Static Control distributor,” said Angel Brito of NGS, Static Control’s distributor in Chile and Peru. “Nothing has been taken away through the merger. Instead, we have been presented countless new opportunities.”
In addition to the business discussions that took place throughout the summit, distributors enjoyed walking the show floor and attending the RT Media Awards Ceremony, where Static Control was honored to win the iconic brand award.
