New Windsor NY, October 14, 2015 – Significant growth of the DocuWare Group continued on into the third quarter of 2015. Year-over-year revenue increase was 30% after the first nine months. The cloud business also further gained momentum: by the end of September, 187 companies had already signed up for this service. Given the current rate, the goal of 200 cloud customers by the end of the year will therefore likely be exceeded ahead of schedule.
This company’s growth was driven equally by the Americas and Europe. By the end of the third quarter, the North and Latin American markets contributed 57 percent of revenue while EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) markets represented 43 percent.
Strong upward trend: 16% of all new customers in 2015 opt for DocuWare Cloud
Increasingly, new customers are choosing the benefits of DocuWare’s SaaS solution. DocuWare Cloud has the same functionality as an on-premise solution while offering low operating costs and high flexibility. Customers can easily expand the software’s feature set to meet their individual needs and add additional users and storage space as needed. From January to September 2015, 16 percent of all new customers selected DocuWare Cloud; at the end of June, this portion was at 14 percent.
At end of the third quarter, the 187 companies who had signed up for DocuWare Cloud represent an increase of 147 percent in comparison to the beginning of the year.
By the end of September 2015, DocuWare’s cloud customers had provided access to 6,264 users and had archived approximately 3.7 million documents. The share of cloud customers between the Americas and Europe is similar to the overall revenue split.
