Highlights from the 2015 Copier Careers® Sales Manager Salary Survey

July 16, 2015 – The 2015 Copier Careers® Sales Manager Salary Survey is now available! This year’s survey reflects the responses of 1,123 copier channel managers sales — a new record. The survey measures a variety of data and provides a snapshot of how well sales managers are compensated, how satisfied they are in their careers, and what’s next for the industry. Here are a few highlights from this year’s survey:

  • For the first time ever, average compensation for sales managers has exceeded $150,000.
  • The gender gap is decreasing, with women now making up one-third of all copier channel sales managers.
  • This year, a small but growing percentage of sales managers say they’d be interested in going to work for a startup company.
  • The selling sales manager role has gained greater acceptance over the past few years. Many sales managers are now managing smaller, more nimble teams.
