Venice, Florida, June 19, 2015 –The Imaging Supplies Coalition for International Intellectual Property Protection (ISC) announced that it had elected a new Chairman of the Board and three new officers at their annual meeting held June 9, 2015. Andrew Gardner, World Wide Brand Protection Manager at Lexmark International was named Chairman of the Board. He succeeds Matt Hahn, Senior Director Marketing, Brother International Corporation.
Commenting on the election, Allen Westerfield, President of the Coalition said, “The Members and Board of Directors want to thank Matt Hahn of Brother and Kevin Weaver of Xerox outgoing secretary, for their proactive involvement and support of the ISC. Our new Chairman, Andrew Gardner, brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the Chair and we look forward to continuing to build on our programs and initiatives under his leadership.”
Thomas A Walter, Director – Aftermarket Sales, Marketing and Operations, Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. was named Chair-Elect. Aki Nagata, Supervisor, Legal Administration Division, Canon USA. Inc. was elected Treasurer for a second consecutive term. Glenn Gillen, Brand Protection Manager, Brother International Corp. was elected Secretary.
Westerfield went on to say, “Each of these officers has broad experience in the imaging supplies industry and are their companies’ leaders in developing intellectual property rights protection strategies to defend their companies’ brand from illegal activity.”
