DOVER, NH, APRIL 30, 2015 – Formax presents three new desktop solutions: the Cut-True 13M Manual Paper Cutter, the FD 230 Semi-Automatic Creaser / Perforator and the FD 1202 Pressure Sealer. The Cut-True 13M and FD 230 will be available for shipment in mid-May.
The Cut-True 13M Manual Paper Cutter is rugged and compact, with the high-quality components and safety features seen in the entire Cut-True line. It cuts stacks up to .75” high and up to 14.5” wide, using a hardened steel blade, LED laser line and calibrated scales for precision cutting with minimal effort. Front and rear transparent safety covers, blade lock, external blade depth adjustment, and a complete tool kit make this cutter ideal for producing professional-quality brochures, invitations, and more.
The FD 230 Semi-Automatic Creaser / Perforator is another great option for finishing printed materials. The creasing function prevents cracking of digital prints and ensures a clean, professional fold. The perforating function allows for clean separation of multiple printouts,
tear-offs, postcards or tickets printed on a single sheet. User-friendly features include a color touchscreen control panel, automatic sheet/crease measurement, five programmable jobs, and multiple creasing widths for a variety of paper weights and sizes up to 18” wide. It’s programmed with five standard folds: 1/2 fold, 1/3 fold, 1/4 fold, gate fold and book cover. The FD 230 is the perfect solution for small print shops, on-demand or in-plant operations producing greeting cards, postcards, brochures, invitations, book covers and more.
The FD 1202 Tabletop Pressure Sealer replaces the discontinued FD 1200, and features a contemporary design and color scheme, with large ergonomic on/off buttons, a new infeed singulator adjustment, seal rollers with better accessibility and a drop-in top-feed system for dependable feeding with no paper fanning required. The FD 1202 has a speed of up to 38 forms per minute, a hopper capacity of up to 160 sheets, and fold plates pre-marked for four common folds which can be adjusted to accommodate custom fold settings for both 11” and 14” forms. With these new enhancements, the FD 1202 is still offered at the same affordable price as its predecessor, and is proudly built in the USA.
