Ends year by releasing more than 20 replacement chips
Sanford, NC, Dec. 16, 2014 – In the last few weeks of 2014, Static Control launched more than 20 replacement chips, including many regional variants for Kyocera® cartridges. This final release caps off a year that saw the company launch more than 800 new products in support of the remanufacturing industry.
More than 15 regional replacement chips were released for a wide variety of Kyocera® cartridges, including those for use in FS-2100 printers, M3040 and M3540 multifunction printers(MFPs). These chips work in all known firmware, including the V1 serial numbers, which have been an issue in some aftermarket offerings.
Also launched was a universal chip for use in various HP® and Canon® printers, such as the Canon® MF229 and HP® M125, M201 and M225 MFPs. Universal chips provide full functionality and can simplify production for remanufacturers. Other replacement chips released were regional variants for use in MLT-D111S and MLT-D116L cartridges for Samsung® printers. Samsung® often releases cartridge SKUs across multiple regions, so customers are encouraged to check the cartridge part number prior to ordering chips.
Also launched were replacement toners for use in Samsung® MLT-D309 cartridges and Brother® HL-2170 printers. These toners provide OEM comparable image density and page yields. A shipping protector for use in cartridges for the Lexmark® C736 family of printers was also released. This two-piece shipping protector includes a developer roller cover and a cloth section designed to go in between the doctor blade and developer roller.
“We have an extremely busy and very exciting 2015 ahead,” said Static Control’s Vice President of North American Sales Bryan Bonacum. “We have many new products in development that we are excited about and can’t wait to release.”
