NEW HAVEN, CONN., October 3, 2014 – Sponsored by the Connecticut Technology Council and Marcum LLP, the seventh annual Marcum Tech Top 40 has recognized Square 9 Softworks as the fastest growing software company in Connecticut. Square 9 was awarded for its tremendous 448% growth over a four year revenue run rate from 2010 through 2013, marking Square 9’s second consecutive year as an honoree.
The Marcum Tech Top 40 recognizes the fastest growing privately and publicly owned technology companies throughout the state. Honorees must have accumulated at least $3M in annual revenues while demonstrating an impressive record of growth in each of the preceding four years.
As the developer of the award-winning SmartSearch Document Management suite, Square 9 led 14 companies to top the software category – the largest industry sector of the event – by demonstrating the greatest percentage of growth in revenue across all the technology verticals.
