Aug. 12, 2014 – RISO, Inc. announced the release of the industry’s first in-line full color inkjet cut-sheet Print-to-Mail Solution. A RISO ComColor 9150 or 7150 printer, in combination with the new Wrapping Envelope Finisher, automatically personalizes documents and envelopes, then addresses, folds and assembles them into a completed, sealed mailpiece – at rates of up to 2,200 completed pieces (single page insert) of mail every hour. Using this compact, self-contained system, documents that require either automated or manual folding and inserting can be easily printed, inserted and post office ready with basically the click of a mouse.
The RISO In-line Print-to-Mail Solution offers single-pass, variable data mail production which meets the security, speed, and quality needs of a wide range of business, educational or religious institutions that mail static or personalized (variable data) printed communications.
“With the introduction of the RISO In-line Print-to-Mail Solution, digital service providers can easily and efficiently convert an 8’ x 12’ area of floor space into an in-house white paper factory / mail center,” notes Richard Mattina, Associate Vice President, Marketing & Business Development, RISO, Inc. “Users can now produce colorful and personalized mail projects of virtually any volume, with a drastic reduction in time and direct labor costs. It’s a revenue stream just waiting to happen.”
• Secure and Confidential Printing: The RISO In-line Print to Mail Solution eliminates the need for barcoding and intelligent inserters. Printing insert and envelope at the same time, it increases mailpiece integrity, reduces operator intervention and processing errors, and minimizes risk due to errors subject to regulations like HIPAA/SOX/GLBA in Healthcare, Insurance, and Finance industries.
• Automatically Print, Fold, Insert, and Seal: Up to five tri-folded letter-sized pages or three quad-folded legal-sized pages (20 lb. bond) can be wrapped and sealed in a single pass, producing a professionally finished mail piece.

• Cost Savings: The system provides low-cost color on both envelope and inserts to maximize cost savings of each mail run. Users can take advantage of all the postal discounts through the integration of address hygiene and pre-sort, CASS/PAVE Certified Mailing software.
• Space & Power Savings: This automated RISO system’s small footprint easily fits into tight mailrooms, mail centers and print shops. Additionally, the system does not require a dedicated line, nor HVAC considerations as it utilizes a standard wall outlet and does not generate heat as most toner-based systems do.
• World’s Fastest Full Color Cut Sheet Ink Printer: When using the 9150 print engine that can be configured with the Envelope Wrapper, users also benefit from the ability to output up to 150 pages per minute of full color variable data output.

MaxxVault Releases Second Generation Salesorce Connector
Aug 12, 2014 – MaxVault LLC, the creator of MaxxVault Enterprise and MaxxCloud, the platforms for Electronic Document Management and Workflow, has announced the release of its second generation Salesforce Connector, enabling industry-leading document and management capabilities to be seamlessly integrated with Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) products.
Salesforce was created to automate the process of working with your prospect and customer data, but not necessarily to support high document volume or high storage requirements. Too often, companies max out their file storage capacity faster than expected or resort to storing those documents outside of their Salesforce environment, which is neither efficient nor productive. Connecting MaxxVault to Salesforce allows clients to create and access documents directly from within the Salesforce environment with an unlimited capacity to store those documents as well as all of the unstructured data that is vital to doing business.
Salesforce is one of the most popular CRM products in the world, with over 55,000 corporate customers, and 1.5 million individual subscribers. Salesforce has also been positioned in the Leader Quadrant of Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Sales Force Automation eight years running. MaxxVault became a Salesforce ISV Application Partner to show their commitment to supporting the ever-growing number of customers using Salesforce and create one of the best Cloud-based EDM solutions in the business.
“We give clients a streamlined EDMS product that focuses on integration with the applications they are using daily, such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics Suite of products. This leads to a much shorter sales cycle as the core document management and workflow features are accessible directly from the application they are using,” said Bruce Malyon, founder and CEO of MaxxVault LLC. “Also, allowing partners and clients to have input on product direction is one key factor to the continued growth of MaxxVault, and LDI and Liquidnet have been indispensable in the development of our latest Salesforce Connector.”
Metrofuser Announces Dynamic Interface for Greater Remanufactured Fuser and Printer Reliability
Aug. 8th, 2014 – Metrofuser has announced automation that promises to push the reliability of the company’s remanufactured fusers and printers to greater levels. The technology behind the dynamic interface is similar to what is used in the banking and financial industry and allows unparalleled visibility, according to Metrofuser. The system records change events and graphically overlays the event on the warranty rates of the fusers and printers. This allows the company to track corrective actions and spot trends faster. The data is collected across all departments so changes to packaging, production processes and components can be better communicated and quantified.
“Critical introspection is a cornerstone to Metrofuser remanufacturing, this technology will allow greater insight.” says Chief Operating Officer William DeMuth “Thousands of hours in research and development have gone into the implementation of the Event Horizon system and the last obstacles to its full capabilities were cleared this summer.” said DeMuth “We are excited about unleashing its full potential.”
Metrofuser remanufactures and distributes laser printer parts, remanufactured printers and offers service training for HP, Lexmark and Canon brands.
