Marco Named as 2014 Microsoft Central Region SMB Partner of the Year
Aug. 6, 2014 – Marco was recognized by Microsoft as the SMB Partner of the Year for the central region at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Washington, DC on July 14, 2014. Awards were presented in multiple categories with winners and finalists chosen from more than 200 organizations across the central region.
Marco was recognized for providing outstanding solutions and services, as well as demonstrating excellent engagement.

DocuWare Achieves 5-Star Ranking
Aug. 5, 2014 – DocuWare Corporation has received a 5-Star Rating from Buyers Laboratory for its DocuWare Online product. This follows the already received 5-Star rating for their Business, Professional, and Enterprise Server products.
Buyers Laboratory (BLI) has just issued a new Solution Report certifying DocuWare Online with 5 Stars. This is the first time BLI rated DocuWare Online. Categories tested included: Feature Set, Ease of Use, Compatibility, Security, Reseller and Customer Support and Training, Upgrade Path and Global Business Readiness. Overall, testing was done in 12 categories.

RJ Young Announces Strategic Partnership with PrintReleaf
Aug. 5, 2014 – RJ Young, an independent office equipment and business technology provider, has become an authorized channel partner of the PrintReleaf Exchange [PRX], the first technology platform to enable cloud-based paper tracking and reforestation. This strategic partnership allows RJ Young to provide its customers with an innovative and authentic way to promote sustainable business practices and reduce the environmental impacts that can result from printing.
PRX measures paper consumption through a patent-pending aggregation process that uses the automatic transmission of device and fleet data collected by print management software on imaging devices. This allows end users to help neutralize paper waste, improve efficiency and certifiably participate in sustaining our global forests.
With PRX, customers “releaf,” or reforest, their paper consumption by planting new trees – equivalent to their paper use – at global reforestation project sites of their choice. Through PrintReleaf’s integration with Global Forest Watch, a platform hosted by the World Resources Institute, customer’s interface with heat map technology that represents forest loss and gain across the globe, showing them which areas the planet needs trees most. PrintReleaf reforests at a generally accepted rate of 8,333 sheets of paper per tree (this equation is detailed in PrintReleaf’s global standard for sustainability). After selecting where they want their paper releafed, customers can use their online portal to track the evolution, growth, and survival of their trees over an approximate eight-year time frame for each tree.

Square 9 Expands Browser-Based Collaboration in SmartSearch v4.0
July 31, 2014 –Square 9 Softworks has formally announced the release of SmartSearch 4.0, delivering users with an enriched Web-based collaborative experience. The v4.0 solution has been built to streamline the remote management of documents through a tight integration with Dropbox, new browser-enabled features and general enhancements to the performance of GlobalSearch.

Bay Copy promotes Dave Newton to Director of Technical Services
Aug. 4, 2014 – Bay Copy (www.baycopy.com has promoted Dave Newton of Plymouth, MA to the position of Director of Technical Services. In this expanded role, he will continue to work with Bay Copy’s Technical Team to meet the service needs of the company’s client base, and will additionally work with other members of the management team to set overall company strategy, and work with the company’s vendors and third-party support partners.
Newton, an industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience, joined Bay Copy in 2001 when the Rockland company acquired the Norwood-based AdCom, and brought the operations under the Bay Copy umbrella. Prior to his recent promotion, he served as service manager.
