Presentation took place during Aug. 7-8 BTA West event
Kansas City, MO — On Aug. 8, the Business Technology Association (BTA; www.bta.org) presented the association’s distinguished President’s Award to Sally Brause, director of human resources consulting for GreatAmerica Financial Services. Brause leads the GreatAmerica PathShare® HR Services offering (www.greatamerica.com/pathshare). Only three other individuals have received the award in the past 10 years. The award was presented at the Aug. 7-8 BTA West Capture the Magic educational and networking event held at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas, Nev.
“Through the years, outside of the association dealer volunteer leadership, we occasionally have individuals who rise above their peers in terms of support of BTA,” said BTA President-Elect Dave Quint as he presented the award to Brause. “One of those volunteers is very familiar to you. I would like to take this opportunity to recognize her for her dedication to the association and her willingness to assist us when called upon to share her expertise.”
Quint noted that Brause is “always willing” to present at the association’s district events. Likewise, he said, she has presented BTA Building My Business webinars and written for the association’s magazine, Office Technology. “She is also a great champion of the independent dealer channel,” he said. “For that we owe her our gratitude.”
Brause was presented with the award following the educational session she led at the BTA West event. “Receiving this award is such an amazing honor and I am so appreciative to be a part of the BTA community on behalf of GreatAmerica,” she said, noting that the award presentation came as a complete surprise. “I look forward to continuing to grow the wonderful relationship GreatAmerica has with BTA. We share the same genuine interest and passion in helping office technology dealers succeed.”
