We continue to see explosive growth in the document capture and management market and expect that trend to continue in 2014. In reviewing our “scan” meters throughout our MFP fleet we continue to see an annual rise in the amount of scanning our customers are doing. Companies such as DocuWare and Intellenetics have done a tremendous job in designing solutions and educating dealers to enable the channel to take advantage of this opportunity.
Muratec is focused on delivering powerful capture tools, including our new line of A4 MFP solutions, to enable users to seamlessly capture and index hardcopy documents into these systems using their desktop/workgroup MFP. By decentralizing the scanning process we’re able to increase office efficiency and accelerate the adoption and execution of a document management deployment.
In addition, we’re also seeing an increase in customer demand for applications that enable the scanning of documents from an MFP directly into cloud-based systems, such as Evernote, Dropbox, Box and Google Docs, for storage, sharing and collaboration. Our new A4 MFP line enables customers to directly scan documents (and route faxes) to Evernote and we plan to offer connectors for other cloud-based systems throughout 2014.
